Cassie has a one-night stand with him, but... After that, things start to get really weird, and all her issues and traumas from her childhood begin to haunt her.
Well, Cassie wakes up and finds the handsome stranger dead in her bed. Pretty shaken up, Cassie chooses to liven her life and work as usual and pretend nothing has happened. But the ramifications are no joke, and Cassie has to go through a series of dangerous and strange events while trying to keep herself together. Unfortunately, as if things weren't bad enough, her drinking problem is slowly taking her sanity away. And the dead man shows up as a voice in her head and then a phantom that can influence the choices she makes.
Cassie is hunted by a female assassin, Miranda, and a goon called Victor. Then she and Miranda have to team up to kill the goon. Later, Buckley, whom Cassie is romantically involved with, turns out to be a professional killer and wants her dead. After a fight with Buckley in a hotel room, Cassie's coworker Shane shows up in time and shoots the man down just before Cassie is going to be choked by Buckley.
Cassie is caught up in some serious stuff and can't get away for the foreseeable future. In the end, her coworker says the CIA is interested in recruiting her as a civilian asset, and Cassie is working hard to kick the booze. Cassie - a Beautiful Flight Attendant with a Drinking Problem
As the main character, Cassie is surely an interesting character that can draw anyone's attention once they clap eyes on her. Cassie is beautiful, funny, outgoing, and energetic. She is the dreamy girl for practically every man on earth, and that is why she can have dalliances with any man she desires, and that is how our story begins. Cassie's great people skills can make others like her in a short amount of time, thus she can get things done efficiently and get help when she needs it. That is one of the reasons why she survives in the end.
Unfortunately, alcohol addiction is her Achilles' heel. Cassie's father was an alcoholic, and he made her his drinking buddy. Then her father died in a car crash due to drunk driving, and that is the most traumatic event of Cassie's life.
Cassie's life as a flight attendant seems amazing, but it is far from perfect. She keeps sleeping around, but there is no man who would give her his whole heart, and she seems to have commitment issues and can't settle down with anyone, even though she really likes the man. That can be a lot to cope with. And her drinking problem only makes things worse. She uses alcohol to not overthink things and tries to evade the fact that her relationships can be really fake.
Cassie needs to grow into a mature woman, and this incident might just be the turning point of her life.
Megan - an Unassuming Flight Attendant with a Spy Problem
Megan is Cassie's coworker, and she is no doubt the opposite of her. Megan is unattractive and kind of boring, but she has a devoted husband and a son. It seems she has everything Cassie can't have, but Megan is also jealous of Cassie. Megan also wants to be seen and wanted like Cassie. She wants her life to be more exciting than just routines, so she stirs things up by selling sensitive information to an enemy country.
Megan's life does become more complicated like she wants, but in a bad way. In the end, she has to leave her husband and son for their safety and regrets everything she has done deeply.
Megan is just trying to have a taste of Cassie's life, but she can never be Cassie because they are too different. Megan's failure is one of greed and jealousy. Maybe she never shows it, but deep down, she would give up everything she has to live a day like Cassie.
Miranda - an Imperturbable Assassin with a Thawing Heart
Miranda is an experienced assassin who has lived many lives under different identities. She is practical and cold-hearted. She is only after benefits and would do anything to achieve her goal. She never loves anyone but herself and has never done anything selfless, until she meets Cassie. Even though Cassie is also not good at loving people, there is something about her that makes Miranda tick.
Like two peas in a pot but of different colors, Miranda and Cassie click somehow and become partners in the game of survival. Miranda intends to kill Cassie at first but later helps her escape. Their relationship is fragile but magical. Maybe it will turn into something more, and The Flight Attendant Season 2 will show more of the dynamics between them.
