The current Netflix Windows app does not support offline downloads, and Netflix does not provide a Mac download app. Browser playback on both systems requires an internet connection.

The subtitle preference in KeepStreams Settings controls how subtitles are saved. The title-analysis window then shows which video, audio, and subtitle tracks are available for the selected title.

1. Open KeepStreams Settings, go to the VIP Services settings, and choose whether subtitles should be saved as external files or remuxed into the video.

   

2. Open Netflix from VIP Services or enter its URL. Sign in, play the title, and wait for analysis. If analysis does not start automatically, click the orange download button.

 Method 2: Browser Extraction for Subtitle-Only Files

Browser subtitle extraction is an option when you need a subtitle file without downloading the full video. Depending on the title and current Netflix playback method, a subtitle-export extension, userscript, or the browser's Developer Tools may expose readable timed text.

1. Open the title and select the required subtitle language in the Netflix player.
2. Use the subtitle-export control provided by the selected extension or userscript. With Developer Tools, open Network, reload playback, and inspect subtitle responses for readable timed text such as VTT or TTML/XML.
3. Save the readable VTT, TTML/XML, or DFXP file. If SRT is required, convert the saved file with a format-aware subtitle editor.

This Netflix subtitle extension workflow is more suitable for an occasional study or editing file than for an entire series. Stop if no readable timed-text resource appears. Do not upload or share Network logs because they may contain URLs, tokens, or account-session information.
