Is Video Proc safe? A comprehensive explanation of reviews, reputation, and alternative software

| Reviews |
Updated on Dec 19, 2022 | 5 Minutes Reading
In this article, we will introduce Video Proc's safety, reviews, and also its alternative software all at once.

Video Proc is well known as a very useful and easy-to-use video content editing software and screen recording software. But what kind of software is Video Proc really, and what are the reviews from users? In this article, we will introduce Video Proc's safety, reviews, and alternatives all at once.

Is Video Proc safe?

What is Video Proc?

Video Proc is a software that consolidates four major functions related to video content. It is very powerful and has received many accolades. Video Proc has four main functions Video content editing and format conversion, screen recording, DVD conversion, and video content downloading. Note that the video content editing function is limited to adding subtitles and simple editing, and does not allow for difficult operations. Conversely, it is ideal for those who only need simple animation editing.

Who is the distributor of Video Proc?

VideoProc Converter was developed and marketed by Digiarty Software in Chengdu, China. Founded in 2006, the company does not have a long history, but it has a solid track record with more than 80 million users worldwide using its software. This is what makes the company unique. This track record gives the company a competitive advantage and is one of the factors that make users feel comfortable choosing the company.

We also have a branch office in Japan, so we can provide software as well as post-purchase support in Japanese. So, even though the company is overseas, you can rest assured that we have an excellent support system.

Summary of Video Proc Reviews

Bad reviews of VideoProc

Video Proc claims to be a "simple, easy-to-understand, multi-functional video processing software," but some people who have actually used it have found it "not as good as they thought it would be..." However, some people who have actually used VideoProc seem to think that it is "not as good as it seems...". Before checking out the product, let's take a look at the bad reviews and reputation.

Does the free trial version not have any features that I might be able to use?

The free trial version is an important indicator of whether or not to purchase a paid license. What are the negative impressions of those who have actually used the free version?

・There is not much you can do with the free version in terms of video editing. There are only about 8 colors for text.

∙ The trial version is limited and screen recording doesn't work well...

...Inserting free messages, converting to 3D, and shortcuts are lacking...

...When choosing video content editing software, the most important thing is functionality and ease of use, and I was curious what your opinion is of VideoProc's poor functionality...

It is easy to use, but I can't freely insert ticking sounds into my videos. It would be nice if we could freely change the effective design.

I think the subtitles are too subtle. This is the first time I have used something that cannot be edited directly on the software and requires text data to be prepared and loaded separately. It would be nice if we could manage the text data as a file and use it in some convenient way, but I don't think we will always use subtitles, and

I don't think I will use subtitles all the time, and I have no complaints if I can convert from 2D to 3D.

I shot 4K, 120fps with Gopro, but I can't seem to edit it properly, the problem seems to be that the OS is win7, but even trimming is heavy. I'm wondering if I should migrate the host to win10, or give up shooting in 4K for now.

I'm not sure if it's a 'subtle itch'. Mouse cursor doesn't highlight when I start recording with shortcut keys.

It is certainly highly functional, but I am concerned about whether there are any glitches. The video I went to the trouble of editing was lost due to a failure. ...... It would be sad if something like that happened.

I have not used it so far because of its high price ... . Video content editing software ranges from free to expensive; is VideoProc expensive or cheap? I looked for negative feedback about the price. I wanted to purchase a one-year license so I could try it out for a while, but the price was not much different from a perpetual license. I felt it was a bit expensive. "

Good review of VideoProc.

...I had a hard time finding a good free software or website for file format conversion and I finally found it. If you are like me, I really recommend it. It's free and can convert a large amount of files in 5 minutes.

I installed VideoProc so I could actually edit the video, and I think it is a highly recommended part of the software because it is easy to work with.

I'm a little concerned about not knowing how much time is left on the video when changing speeds, so if I make a mistake I have to start over, but overall it seems to work well at about 2.4x speed.

I have tried the "VideoProc" software from Digiarty Software and it does a very good job, and it can download from Youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, and other video sites. The screen capture is also very good and highly recommended.

This is the great thing about Videoproc: it converts youtubelive and playlist videos in bulk.

I recommend the "Videoproc" trial version (the full version is paid, but that's enough).

I often use it to convert avi to mp4 and mp4 to wav. I don't think the conversion is slow, and it is nice to be able to download Nico Douga and YouTube videos in mp4 and wav formats.

Many good comments were seen, such as, "It can save videos in high quality," "I can download YouTube videos in batches," and "The free version is good enough to use.

Some also said, "I appreciate the recording function," and "Downloading videos is easy. Some also commented that the functions of the free trial version were sufficient.

True Thoughts after using VideoProc

Response to inquiries is poor.

First of all, inquiries are handled only by e-mail.

I exchanged about 15 messages in total, but I received about 2 to 3 per day, which I personally thought was a pretty good response.

The only problem was that it was difficult to understand Japanese.

The contact person at Videoproc is in Chinese, so it was difficult to read the text.

To be honest, when it comes to inquiry cases, you may feel pressured to communicate.

At least for me, it was troublesome because it was difficult to understand Japanese.

The performance is not good.

In fact, I tried the "DVD Converter" function with a DVD I bought used, but the conversion stopped in the middle of the process.

I contacted Video Pro to check it out and was told that the DVD had a broken frame and could not be converted.

As a result, that used DVD was not usable, but other DVDs could be converted with Video Proc without any problems.

I felt that this was indeed a Video Proc performance issue, so I explained the situation and the problem was resolved in the form of a "half refund".

To be honest, I was hoping for a full refund, but they did give me a half refund, so I guess that's good, right? I think it is a good thing.

In any case, please understand that if you are converting DVDs using used DVDs, Video Proc may not be able to rip them.

If the DVD is copy-protected (DRM), the screen recording feature will not work.

The screen recording feature is the same as on your iPhone or Mac.

In other words, you cannot record anything that is copy-protected (DRM), such as live DVDs or movie DVDs.

As iPhone users have probably experienced at least once, if you try to record a copyright-protected video, the screen goes black and you cannot record.

Therefore, you cannot record videos using a copy-protected device for screen recording. On the other hand, with "DVD Converter," you can convert copy-protected videos without any problems.

Video Proc Alternative--Professional Video Preservation Software

I would like to introduce a way to remove copy protections (DRM) and save videos to your computer easily. We recommend a professional video preservation software--KeepStreams downloader.

KeepStreams is a highly functional downloader that can easily download DRM-implemented streaming videos from NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, hulu, U-NEXT, etc. With KeepStreams, you can easily download videos from Video KeepStreams improves the screen recording feature of Video Proc, which is not able to record videos with DRM.

Below are some of the unique features of KeepStreams as an alternative to Video Proc.

  • Batch downloading: Download videos in batches Downloading multiple videos at once can save you a lot of time waiting.
  • Download videos without commercials You can automatically remove commercials when downloading videos. You don't waste time and don't have to skip the commercials yourself.
  • Stable and free updates Fresh updates are always provided to improve your viewing experience.
  • Save videos in resolutions up to 1080p You can choose the resolution of the video you want to download, from 320p to 1080p, for comfortable offline quality viewing.
  • Multiple audio tracks KeepStreams also offers accessible audio tracks, including ACC 2.0 and EAC3 5.1.

Conclusion

We have introduced Video Proc, a video content editing software. We have combined and displayed user opinions, mainly reviews, so if you are concerned about bad reviews, please try the alternative software KeepStreams.
